Explainer Video - School of Motion Final Project

Art Direction, 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics

For my final project for Cinema 4D Base Camp we were assigned to create an explainer video using only the audio assets and mood board sketches provided by the course. I acquired the skills to craft new objects and manipulate lighting, all the while implementing my understanding of fundamental animation principles.

A personal project I did to model a device from the anime show Digimon. While creating it, I learned how to create intricate and detailed models, and how to apply cell shading lighting techniques.

School of Motion - Character animation exercise

Character Animation

In the exercise, I gained the capability to rig characters for animation. Streamlining follow-through animations so that only a couple of handles are required to animate the whole body.

School of Motion - Big Reveal -Materials Transformation Exercise

3D model assets provided by SOM.

In this exercise, I learned how to use fields to transform materials into new materials and how to animate displacements in geometry.

School of Motion - Redshift Materials Exercise

3D model assets and animations were provided by SOM.

The exercise helped me gain the knowledge to apply realistic 3D textures to materials.

School of Motion - Animation Rigging Exercise

3d model assets provided by SOM.

This animation project taught me how to rig 3D objects, enabling me to streamline keyframing and simulate lifelike joint motion.
